At the end of the devotion I invite you to do a short quiet reflection of 5 - 10 minutes. Breath deeply and focus on your breath - inhalation and exhalation. If your mind is "busy" repeat the gratitude of the day or your own personal gratitude that comes to mind. This quite time will allow you to hear from God.

TODAY'S DEVOTION:
Today I am grateful and thankful for the gift of curiosity. Medical Doctor, Research Scientist and Spiritual Teacher Deepak Chopra, list CURIOSITY as one of the seven traits that are present in people who age well. That is, folks who age with a youthful outlook, have lots of energy and are healthy. Curiosity is a child-like quality that keeps us asking questions and eager to learn, that quality that older folks called inquisitive. This quality keeps us fresh, frisky and increases our happiness quotient. I am grateful for this quality in myself and now that I know how much it adds to my life I will endeavour to grow in curiosity.
THOUGHT TO FOCUS ON:
My Curiosity is the open door to learning and growing which increases the joy in my life.
SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 33:8(TPT) - Now, with breathtaking wonder, let everyone worship Yahweh, this awe-inspiring Creator.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, Yahweh, you are the author and finisher of my faith, you created all that exists, and I am in awe of you. I pray Father, that you will help me to be always keen to learn about you and this marvelous world that you spoke into being.
Let loose and go outside! Enjoy the snow, or the rain. Watch the stream flow and ponder how it never ceases. In those moments of curiosity and awe, God speaks to and with you!
Have a splendid Sunday,
Beverley
