Butterflies loving my Lavender
from memories of summer past

Welcome to 40 Days Of Gratitude day 25!  Thank the Lord, we are on week 4!  We are now into four  weeks of focusing on our blessings and not our problems!   Thank you for staying with me on this adventure. I am looking forward to reading your comments and sharing your stories:  Revelations, problems solved, ideas conceived and birthed etc.

At the end of the devotion I invite you to do a short quiet reflection of 5 - 10 minutes. Breath deeply and focus on your breath - inhalation and exhalation.  If your mind is "busy" repeat the gratitude of the day or your own personal gratitude that comes to mind.  This quite time will allow you to hear from God.

TODAY'S DEVOTION:

Today I am grateful and thankful for my life lessons; and they are many.  Hard for some to believe but I was an opinionated and self-righteous young woman so life brought me plenty lessons to straighten me out. Believe me it was quite a fight to get me on the path of transformational awareness.   Have you heard of this concept that we are all each other's mirrors? Well, start paying attention to the people and circumstances you attract into your world.  Also pay attention to what you judge or criticize in others, you will quickly understand what I'm talking about.

John C. Maxwell, author of The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, the third law, The Law Of The Mirror, John said you have to see value in yourself in order to want to add value to you; that is, invest in your personal growth.  Why do we need to grow? There is a popular saying "if we are not growing we are moving backwards", there is no such thing as standing still.  If we feel we are standing still  life becomes monotonous and we feel stagnant.  Since each person's path is personal we each have to decide what is right for us.

THOUGHT TO FOCUS ON:

I know whose I AM, therefore I know who I am.  I develop myself so I can add more value to those whom I serve.

SCRIPTURE:

2 Corinthians 12:9(NLT) - Each time he said, "My grace is all you need.  My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, merciful God, thank you for your never ending mercy towards me.  You said in your word, that you blot out my misdeeds and remember them no more.  Your Grace is enduring and unconditional.  I appreciate you Father.

In Jesus name I pray.  AMEN πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Coming to terms with your true identity, that you are God's son or daughter is the most important step to transforming your life from the inside-out.  It is also very freeing.

If you haven't done so yet, ask Jesus into your heart and them commit to get to know him.  You will not be disappointed.

Have a transformational Tuesday,

Beverley
