Rejoicing in the wins

DIG: Deeper In God
Rejoicing in the wins

Psalm 56:13 (NKJV)
For You have delivered my soul from death.
Have You not kept my feet from falling,
That I may walk before God
In the light of the living?

I am in awe of the synchronicity and flow that happens when we start to dig in and chew on the Word, digest them and allow them to transform our hearts πŸ’• πŸ’ž. After many years of "doing the work" I concluded that the world 🌎 really has a "heart problem". It is now clearly evidenced that what goes on in our inner world manifest in the outer by way of our attitude, behavior and physical ailments.

Make acknowledging our fears, confessing our shortfalls, asking for forgiveness and rejoicing our miracles, large and small, a part if our daily prayer practices. This is how we learn and grow. This is how to get insights and revelations downloads from God. This is how we change our lives and influence those around us. There's much to learn from King David!

Have a miraculous Wednesday,

Psalm 56
New King James Version
Prayer for Relief from Tormentors
To the Chief Musician. Set to [a]“The Silent Dove in Distant Lands.” A Michtam of David when the Philistines captured him in Gath.

1 Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up;
Fighting all day he oppresses me.
2 My enemies would hound me all day,
For there are many who fight against me, O Most High.

3 Whenever I am afraid,
I will trust in You.
4 In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me?

5 All day they twist my words;
All their thoughts are against me for evil.
6 They gather together,
They hide, they mark my steps,
When they lie in wait for my life.
7 Shall they escape by iniquity?
In anger cast down the peoples, O God!

8 You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?
9 When I cry out to You,
Then my enemies will turn back;
This I know, because God is for me.
10 In God (I will praise His word),
In the Lord (I will praise His word),
11 In God I have put my trust;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

12 Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God;
I will render praises to You,
13 For You have delivered my soul from death.
Have You not kept my feet from falling,
That I may walk before God
In the light of the living?

The Power of Prayer

DIG: DEEPER IN GOD

The power of prayerπŸ™ πŸ™πŸ™
2 Kings 2
We don't know exactly how prayer works, but we know that it does, and there's no such thing as too much prayers! I was reminded of that yesterday when a simple call of well wishes turned into something that "blindsided me". I could never have seen that coming, but we know that Satan is on the loose and always looking to destroy and devour we should not be surprised. Praise be to God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, I was spared.

Quite appropriately, the devotion that I picked randomly today wad in this same topic. It came as a timely reminder that I need to be consistent and vigilant with my praying. Beloved, let us all pray for each other so that we give the maximum imput get the protection and blessings that God has stored up.for us.

Pray without ceasing,

2 Kings 2:1-7
And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.”

But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

3 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master [a]from over you today?”

And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

4 Then Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Jericho.”

But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they came to Jericho.

5 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?”

So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan.”

But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So the two of them went on. 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan.
