40Days Of Gratitude With Bev Allen - Day 19: Healing Of Body, Mind & Soul

A gem from the Bronx
Orchid Show Spring 2018

Welcome to 40 Days Of Gratitude day 19!  Thank the Lord for week 3.  Thank you for staying with me on this adventure. I am looking forward to reading your comments and sharing your stories:  Revelations, problems solved, ideas conceived and birthed etc.

At the end of the devotion I invite you to do a short quiet reflection of 5 - 10 minutes. Breath deeply and focus on your breath - inhalation and exhalation.  If your mind is "busy" repeat the gratitude of the day or your own personal gratitude that comes to mind.  This quite time will allow you to hear from God.

TODAY'S DEVOTION:

Today I am grateful and thankful for healing of my body, mind and my soul.  Yes, Lord, you spared me from many catastrophes in my life.  One particular situation, my first physical healing miracle occurred when I was around 22 - 23 years old. I has excruciating pain and numbness down my leg, the doctor told me I had sciatica and said I must learn to live with it.  The thought of living with that was so unthinkable that I started crying right there in his office.  He said I was acting like a baby, I should grow up and sent me to physio. I did one or two sessions and did go back. A short while later I realized that I was not feeling any of the pain or other sensations I used to.  Praise be to God, to this day I never happened again.

Sometimes my miracles are spontaneous events other times they come through professionals and even ordinary people the Lord send my way.

THOUGHT TO FOCUS ON:

My miracles come through different sources so I am always open and ready to receive them.

SCRIPTURE:

Matthew 4:23 ((AMP)-And He went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every king of sickness among the people (demonstrating and revealing that he was indeed the promised Messiah).

PRAYER:

Jehovah, Father, you declared in your word that you will withhold no good thing from me if I diligently seek you; I confess I sought you because there was no where else to turn; and still you embraced me and answered my cry.
I give you thanks and praise, I adore you and I worship you Father.

In Jesus name I pray.  AMEN πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

If you ask believing, you will receive because God is a keeper of promises.  If you doubt, or harbour unbelief, ask God to help you with that - start there.  Gradually your faith will be strengthened.

Have a fulfilling day,

Beverley
