| One of the rigs driven by my nephew Courtney |
Welcome to 40 Days Of Gratitude day 27! Thank the Lord, we are on week 4! We are now into four weeks of focusing on our blessings and not our problems! Thank you for staying with me on this adventure. I am looking forward to reading your comments and sharing your stories: Revelations, problems solved, ideas conceived and birthed etc.

At the end of the devotion I invite you to do a short quiet reflection of 5 - 10 minutes. Breath deeply and focus on your breath - inhalation and exhalation. If your mind is "busy" repeat the gratitude of the day or your own personal gratitude that comes to mind. This quite time will allow you to hear from God.

TODAY'S DEVOTION:
Today I am grateful and thankful for all the men and women who drive trucks for a living. I am always in awe of them. When I see these big rigs on the highway sometimes pulling double trailers and see how they manoeuvre the roads, especially in bad weather like snow and sleet, I am just awestruck. Truckers are the veins of the economy, so much so that there is a Transportation Index which tracks the movement of goods and is used to measure economic activity in developed countries. Truckers move practically everything we use in our daily lives and which we most often take for granted. It's the Christmas season so when you go to the grocery store and load up on goodies send some positive vibes to all the drivers out there who make it happen. Today, when you pass a truck on the road, just whisper a little prayer for the driver.
THOUGHT:
Being aware of the role every person plays in my own existence makes me appreciate and value every single human being the same as myself.
SCRIPTURE:
John 1:16 (AMP) For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for all the men and women who drive for a living, and today I am especially thankful for those who drive the big rigs for long distances. Father, guide and protect them in every way, set your angels to watch over them. Remember also their families who worry about them when they are away from home; put their minds at ease, show them how to trust and depend on you for the safety of their loved ones. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN πππ

| Inside a truck is like the cockpit of an airplane now a days! |
Let us give the drivers lots of love today. It's a busy time of year and they are
under a great pressure to get all the stuff to all the places on time. Yet they have to focus on safety and deal with many different hassles along the way. Give way
to them on they highway and stay out of their way, for your own safety. I see some heart stopping moves on the road almost every day.
Be safe,
Beverley
