At the end of the devotion I invite you to do a short quiet reflection of 5 - 10 minutes. Breath deeply and focus on your breath - inhalation and exhalation. If your mind is "busy" repeat the gratitude of the day or your own personal gratitude that comes to mind. This quite time will allow you to hear from God.

TODAY'S DEVOTION:
Today I am grateful and thankful for the gift of foresight - the ability to see down the road. Here also, Lord, I have been a work in progress as it took the better part of my adult life to start trusting you on this. Like so many of your precious people I was deceived into believing that I was not educated enough, not connected enough, not powerful or privileged enough to have the foresight or opinions I have. Because of this I muted my voice for so long but I have been set free. I am becoming all that you intended me to be.
THOUGHT TO FOCUS ON:
I am. Because God says so!
SCRIPTURE:
Proverbs 20:3 (AMP)-It is an honour for a man to keep away from strife by handling situations with thoughtful foresight; But any fool will start a quarrel without regard for the consequence.
PRAYER:
Precious Lord, Jesus, I cannot thank you enough for the people in my life I consider the lifelines you threw me. Their encouragement and steadfast support has been ever present as a grow in your Grace. I appreciate and cherish you and those vital relationships. Let me be always on the ready to be your hands, feet, ears and voice when you need me to be.
In Jesus name I pray. AMEN πππ

Being able to foresee consequences and implications as well as benefits and future impact is a gift from God. Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs - and others famous and not so famous who have positively impacted the world, their communities and their families had the foresight to press forward with their visions. Seek it, find and develop it because the rewards are great. Also encourage others who display this gift by complementing and encouraging them. By doing this we help those who lack confidence to find their voice.
Be a blessing to as many people as you can today,
Beverley
