Welcome to 40Days Of Gratitude day 11! Thank the Lord we are now on week two and thank you for joining me on this adventure. I am looking forward to reading your comments and sharing your stories: Revelations, problems solved, ideas conceived and birthed etc.

At the end of the devotion I invite you to do a short quiet reflection of 5 - 10 minutes. Breath deeply and focus on your breath - inhalation and exhalation. If your mind is "busy" repeat the gratitude of the day or your own personal gratitude that comes to mind. This quite time will allow you to hear from God.

TODAY'S DEVOTION:
Today I am grateful and thankful for the gifts of insight and inspiration. These two are twins. Whenever I get an insight, that is, a new way forward or a solution I have been looking for I must be inspired to take action. I have to say that when I move on an insight in a timely manor it always work out. As I move along, I get further insight to direct me along the way to crystallize the original idea or thought. This happens more and more as I cease from worry and rest in the lord.
Lord, I am especially grateful for how this is working out in my life now because it was not always like this. I used to be so bogged down with worry and stress so much so that when I get a good insight I get excited and then let it die, only to see the same idea materialize through other people. Then I would say, oh gee, I had the same idea but did nothing with it😢😢😢 Jesus, I have been a tough student in this area but you didn't give up on me.

THOUGHT TO FOCUS ON:
When I stay in thanksgiving and praise; when I remain calm and peaceful I leave space to hear from God through the Holy Spirit.
SCRIPTURE:
Proverbs 24:3(TPT)-Wise people are builders - they build families, businesses, communities. And through intelligence and insight their enterprises are established and endure.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I come before you today to say thank you for your patience and loving kindness towards me. Because you are a patient and caring God who never gives up on any one, teach me to be patient and to be loving in being patient. I appreciate you, Jesus, I adore you Jesus.

Brothers and sisters, patience is a virtue worth developing. Let us start with being patient with ourselves and work it from there. As we grow, we pull up everyone around us, sometimes without even uttering a word.

I am sooo grateful for my family and the ability to spend time with them. I am glad I know that giving is so much better than receiving. I am blessed.
